Monica’s Disney Princess Wish

Monica is a sweet girl who suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis.  This disorder causes tumors to form in many different organs.  The tumors primarily develop in the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, skin and lungs.  Recently, Monica’s dream came true on her 6th birthday in Disney World!  Princess Amy arrived to Monica’s hotel room and made her into Disney’s Belle princess.

After her majestic makeover, Monica enjoyed her very own private horse drawn carriage ride escorted by none other than Prince Charming himself.  Monica later returned to the hotel where the staff was waiting to sing Happy Birthday as she arrived for her royal tea party.  Over the next couple of magical hours, Monica unwrapped loads of gifts, danced with her ‘prince’ and enjoyed a beautiful cake shaped like a castle.  It was great to see how many sponsors came together for one child and even greater to see how happy Monica was on her special birthday!
