Martina McBride was Ashley’s Wish

by Shelley, March 6, 2008

“She was so glad to be alive. She was a butterfly” - the lyrics from Ashley’s favorite song - sung by her special hero, Country-pop singer Martina McBride. Ashley had always dreamt of one day seeing Martina in a live concert.

Young, sweet Ashley - who after a valiant struggle with muscular dystrophy - has sadly passed on. But, her “dream come true” wish was granted by each of you who support the Kids Wish Network. Proof Positive - we can quietly, honorably provide joy and happiness for our vulnerable, sick children.

Thank you for supporting a child’s wish. Dreams can come true - thanks to you. Let’s do this together.

“You should see her fly, it’s almost magical.”
In memory of Ashley
